Bayer HealthCare to consolidate at former Alcatel-Lucent site, Hanover Township announces

Bayer HealthCare will consolidate its East Coast businesses at the former Alcatel-Lucent campus in Hanover Township and move 2,500 employees there from New York and other New Jersey sites, the municipality and the pharmaceutical company announced yesterday.

The news comes after months of speculation of where the Leverkusen, Germany-based pharmaceutical and chemical maker — best known for manufacturing aspirin — would build its East Coast headquarters.
